Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefit. Aromatherapy has been used for centuries.
When inhaled, the scent molecules in essential oils travel from the olfactory nerves directly to the brain and especially impact the amygdala, the emotional center of the brain.
Essential oils can also be absorbed by the skin and combined with massage, helping to relax tight muscles or ease skin complaints.
I will go through your consultation form with you, if it is your first time visiting me, or if you are a returning client, I shall check in with you to see how you are and discuss any potential health changes.
We will then discuss how you want to feel after your treatment. Whether you want to go home and have a deep, unbroken sleep, or if you want your muscles to be relieved from their pain or if you want to leave feeling energized and ready to carry on with your day. I can then create your oil mix from my extensive range of essential oils.
After getting changed in my private changing area, you will be invited to lay down on my couch and the treatment will begin. Once your treatment is at an end, you will sit back down with me and have a cool glass of water. I shall go through your after care advice, and rebook your next treatment, should you like to do so.
Please allow 10 minutes either side of your treatment for consultation and after care.
When you come for a treatment I will give you 100% of my time and attention. I will ensure that I am prepared and ready for your treatment with me. Whilst I appreciate that sometimes, emergencies crop up at the last minute, I do need to ensure my time is filled so I can offer my services to as many people as possible.
If you arrive to your treatment late, I reserve the right to reduce the time of your treatment or cancel if there is not enough time to carry out your treatment before my next client arrives. The treatment cost will still be full price.
No shows and cancellations within 24hrs will be required to pay 100% of treatment cost. Any future bookings will be required to be paid for upfront to secure the booking.
Treatments may only be moved twice. If a request is made for a treatment to be moved a third time, the treatment will be cancelled and any future bookings will require a 50% non refundable deposit to secure the booking.
We operate a card capture system at The Chic House, this is used to protect us against no shows. Card details must be entered to secure your booking. No money is taken from your account.
