The award winning Bergman Method of facial reflexology offers all the usual benefits of traditional foot reflexology combined with the rejuvenating effect a facial has on the skin.
The Bergman method is a pioneering treatment combining Native American techniques, Zone Theory and Asian body maps that chart the reflex points on the face.
The face's proximity to the brain is key to the effectiveness of manipulating facial reflex points which directly connect to the body's neuro-pathways.
What are the benefits?
This treatment can be particularly effective for those who suffer from bells palsy, bruxism, tinnitus, migraines, loss of smell or taste, sinus congestion, insomnia, anxiety or depression.
This is a deeply relaxing treatment that also helps to release tension and emotions held in the face, reduce stress, balance the body and lift your mood.
This cannot be performed:
- In the first 12 weeks of pregnancy
- Within 3 weeks of botox or filler
- Within 3 months of a surgical facelift
What will happen during your appointment?
I will go through your consultation form with you, if it is your first time visiting me, if you are a returning client, I shall check in with you to see how you are and discuss any potential health changes. If you are seeing me for a chronic condition, we shall build a treatment plan together so you get the most out of your treatment.
You remain fully clothed during your treatment. I will begin by cleansing your face with warm towels. I shall then apply a facial oil and begin your treatment. I may use cold crystals during your treatment to stimulate certain areas on your face, this is usually very refreshing, but if this is not something you would enjoy I can leave them out.
Once your treatment has finished you will have a cool glass of water and shall discuss any findings with you. I will show you a couple of points on your face you can work on at home for your after care. We can then rebook your next appointment, should you wish to do so.
Please allow 10 minutes either side of your appointment for consultation and aftercare.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
When you come for a treatment I will give you 100% of my time and attention. I will ensure that I am prepared and ready for your treatment with me. Whilst I appreciate that sometimes, emergencies crop up at the last minute, I do need to ensure my time is filled so I can offer my services to as many people as possible.
If you arrive to your treatment late, I reserve the right to reduce the time of your treatment or cancel if there is not enough time to carry out your treatment before my next client arrives. The treatment cost will still be full price.
No shows and cancellations within 24hrs will be required to pay 100% of treatment cost. Any future bookings will be required to be paid for upfront to secure the booking.
Treatments may only be moved twice. If a request is made for a treatment to be moved a third time, the treatment will be cancelled and any future bookings will require a 50% non refundable deposit to secure the booking.
We operate a card capture system at The Chic House, this is used to protect us against no shows. Card details must be entered to secure your booking. No money is taken from your account.
